Library Mission Statement
By creating a vibrant, inviting environment students, faculty and staff are motivated to choose any of the various media materials available for withdrawal.
Here students grow in information literacy and can choose to become lifelong readers. Students, faculty, and staff can learn to be effective users of ideas and knowledge gained from selecting books and other materials appropriate to their specific needs and/or enjoyment.
|
|
Useage:
Books and other materials are loaned to students who responsibly care for all that he/she checks out. However, the ultimate responsibility rests with the parents or guardian. As such, payment is expected for lost or damaged items.
Teachers, staff, and parents are invited to borrow from any section of the library with perhaps special focus on the professional books located in the teacher/staff snack room.
InfoCentre is our automated software program which includes the catalog and circulation system. A search can be made online for books and materials from any computer housed in our school.
|
Operation:
The library is open for withdrawls mainly Monday through Friday, not ordinarily during vaction or free days, generally from 8:15 am-3:15 pm, but exceptions are honored when needed.
